August Empties

Hey Girlies!

Finally getting around to writing up my August Empties post, but i honestly haven't used up very much this month, mostly because i haven't done much this month so i've got only a few wee things.

I only used up 5 products this month and only because i only opened a load of new products at the beginning of last month so i've not finished those yet and also because i haven't done much this month i haven't used up much make-up or anything.

1 - Vaseline with aloe vera, i always have a vaseline with me and with the crazy weather in scotland it's been really needed as my lips have been all over the place so i love using vaseline to keep moisture there :) and i have already re purchased a new little pot of it :)

2 - Boots own brand body spray, i use this for everyday use and most of the time i end up spraying it around my room like air freshner haha, but with the clamy weather over the last few weeks ive been using this more and more and find i've just been carrying it in my bed to keep topped up and cool.  I'll re-purchase another one when i'm next in boots.

3 - Rimmel primer this has actually lasted me ages and there is a tiny bit left that i can use along with my new one when im next getting make-up on, i like it though it definitely works as a cheaper primer and as i said i have picked another one up.

4 - Neutrogena moisturiser, finished this about 2 weeks ago as it hardly lasted me any time but i won't re-purchase it as i really didn't like it at all, but i done a review on it here if you wanna see.

5 - lastly was aussie leave in conditioner, really like the product and it's lasted me for ages and i always use it after i've washed my hair as i find it really helps with de tangling and keeping it smelling nice! shall possibly re purchase.

July Empties...

Sorry i have been lacking on the post front lately, been proper busy and also been so engrossed with the olympics!!

anyway I've finally got around to writing my july empties post.

So i never really used that many things in July as i was just sort of opening new things but here's what i did use up.

So first up was the 3 minute miracle deep treatment from Aussie, i use the one for luscious long hair as my hair is really long and i find this one works best on my hair, i use it twice weekly to keep my hair in check, but somtimes if i have styled my hair quite a lot that week i will use it more just to keep my hair in as good a condition  as i can, but i really like it, i use Aussie shampoos so this works well with them too, defo be re-purchasing when the 3 for £10 deal is on again in Boots, that way i can stock up.

Next up was the Champneys Oriental Opulence body cream, this is just the little travel size tub that i got in a set, but you can get a 200ml tub for around £10.  I actually really liked this product and it was the first time i used it, but it was rich and not runny, but when applied it went on smooth, covered a large area and wasn't tacky or sticky and like all champneys products it smells devine, even the next day my skin still felt smooth and fully moisturised, job done!

This was the Johnsons night cream for dry skin, and i have been using this for ages now and it works for me and does what it says, its thick and creamy and leaves my skin moisturised. So i have already re-purchased.

This was just a cheapy body spray from boots as i like to carry it with me or just spray instead of deodorant and perfume somtimes, it was only £1 and they way i go through them haha its good for me, plus it smells nice too and doesn't mark or stain.  Already re-purchased this one as the other kinds i do not like the smell of so i just stick to this one.

This deodorant was only new out not that long ago and is already my new favourite, it smells nice and of pommegrant, and i love them so alls good, it doesn't stain or rub and is white mark free which is perfect!

Batiste is every girls best friend right? i know it is mines haha, specially on those lazy day as i seem to have more and more of them lately.  This one was new out when i bought it and it smells soooooo nice exactly like cherries and just gives a nice smell to your hair and does what it does best gets you another day with not so great hair while ading some volume. perfect. Shall defo re-purcase this one as it smelled lovely!

only finished this last night but thought i'd shove it in this post since i was writing it tonight, love cocoa butter and have used this for ages, this has lasted me a good while, as i have just concentrated with it on my legs and arms as i feel it really works on your drier areas like my knees and heels which alwasy get dry and this really does work and help to get moisture in there.

This was a blusher i got from the Avon about a year ago and honestly it has lasted me foreverrrrrrr! and it was such a gorgeous pinky/peach colour with a hint of glitter, perfect for a wee pale yin like me! :) 

well what can i say about baby wipes?
work for everything, i use them for just about everything, taking off my nail polish, wiping up spills haha i go through packs of these like a duno what good job they are only £1

June Empties...

First time I've done this but thought i would give it a go.

I don't go through that much in a month but here's what i remembered to keep this month, the rest I've thrown out.

I used a can of Batiste Dry shampoo, this was the tropical one (150ml) i use this dry shampoo quite a lot as sometimes it's just the fringey bits of my hair that get a bit yucky so i just skoosh this over it instead of wahsin it every other day plus it gives my hair some volume which is great!! already re-purchased but i got the cherry one that smells devine!

I also used a can of Boots firm hold hairspray, this only cost like £1 and i've never really used hairspray much until more recently where i find it keeps my wee strays hairs at bay so i happen to be using it more and more and i have already re-purchased another can, coz i find it doesn't cause my hair to go sticky or anything which is a bonus but i find £5 for a can of hairspray a bit much considering i don't use it all the time so this works for me.

I also finished my Gucci Rush perfume which i love!! It's such a summery scent and i always have a bottle for summer but i finished this just sta the start of June so have moved on but i'll definitely get another one for spring/summer next year!!

I also finished my Johnsons day cream moisturiser for dry skin and have already re-purchased i've been using this for about a year with the night one and they are good i like that it doesnt leave your face sticky you can put it on and it absorbs quickly and you don't need to wait about for it to dry! £5 is a steal for it too and you usually get 2 for £5 in boots when they are on offer.

Got through another packet of boots cleansing wipes which i do regularly, as i usually use at least one a day and more if i have eye make-up to take off, i love them, wouldn't go past them.

The baby wipes i use also just for like wiping my brushes and taking off nail polish and things so i dont get though a packet as fast but they work for the things like that.

wee tin of vaseline with aloe vera, i get through vaseline quite regularly as i always carry it with me and specially with this crazy weather i find i wear it more and more and top it up more and more throughout the day, i love it though and have already got more tins waiting.  This one is my fav though.

The blush was from the Avon and was from Cynthia Rowley i think it was on special and honestly its lasted me about 6 months it's been great and a really nice pink shade plus it comes in a great wee compact with mirror and brush that is actually good.  So i'll need to go hunt down another blush that i'll like.

The mascara is No7 and i got it when i had £5 off No7 voucher as i had run out and i think £12 for a mascara is ridic.  This one is nice it goes a clumpy if you put on two coats without letting the first one dry but the brush is good, it's not quite finished, but my eyes have been getting really sore and mascara is all i  have been wearing so throwing it out and getting a new one as ive been using it for about 3 months or so.

Thats all my empties that i remembered to keep...

I also had a bottle of Aussie Lucious Long shampoo and conditioner and a leave in conditoner and a bottle of Dove deodorant and a bottle of Boots pink bodyspray but i didnt keep the bottles coz i forgot..

seems like ive got through loads this month but it was more a case of everything was at the ends and it all ran out in june haha
