small haul

hey girlies !

so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately been busy with lots of stuff but now i'm back and i'll get stuff sorted and get back to bloggin'.

anyway thought i would share the a few little things i picked up the other day, it's nothing major just a small haul but here's what i got!

So i picked up 3 little sets of earrings from Primark for just £1 each as they were on sale. I couldn't say no really.

The top ones are based on British'ness and London and are really quite cute.
The second lot are little plastic neon ones that form the shaped of different fruits, really cute, but i will bypass the bananas as i can't stand them in real life and even looking at the earrings makes me go eww.

The third set are more of a tropical theme with parrots and sunglasses etc, these ones are really cute too.
And like i said £1 for 6 pairs is a bit of a steal!! :)

I also picked up this little ring from Dorothy Perkins, i've always been much more of a silver fan than a gold fan and this little ring caught my eye, i like hearts and i liked the deisgn of this it reminds me of a peace sign but just a different style, i got for a brgain price of 50p instead of £5 so bargain had!!

I also picked up this nip and fab smooth leg fixer from boots on the clearance rack, it was a totally random find and honestly i hadn't even heard of it before until i say it on the clearance rack haha, but i picked it up and sometimes my legs can dry out a bit and this is to help it.  I picked it up for £1.50 and it retails at £8 in boots so that was a good saving.

that was all i got aside from a new luffah and a new sponge haha.

seems i got a good load of bragins!

Shopping Haul

Hey Girlies,

so i thought i'd share some of the stuff that i have purchased over the last few weeks with you's.
It's not much because the job centre doesn't pay me much so i have to be much more money savvy than i am usually as i still have bills to pay!!

so anyway here's some snaps of what i have been buying!! :)
some good bargains!!

sorry about the terrible photos, my BB takes terrible photies.

Firstly i got some new skinny jeans from Primark, i had been looking for new jeans for the inter coming and stuff, and i seen these new supersoft ones i thought i would give them a go as i feel that when you wear leggings for so long having to go back to jeans feels so strange as they can feel really restrictive but these were supersoft and didn't even feel like jeans but looked liked them if you know what i mean.  I also go this charcoal grey colour for a change because i always stick to black and blue and i've always liked grey plus grey also goes with anything so i got these ones, they were £11 which not being too stingy i thought was pricey for primark but going by topshop etc they were a steal.

Next up Disco pants in black, had been longing for a pair of these so went and got them and i love them, i have already done a post on these here if you want to read more about them.

I think this was last seaon A/W at topshop but i don't care about whats trendy when.  I had seen these in the topshop winter sale last year but didn't think they were worth the £20 asking price as to be fair you could spit peas through it, it's just like spider webbing in a jumper... so i hung on and low and behold it popped up on Ebay so i got it for £1.50 hello bargain, and it's cute on and its navy blue but i like thats its a bit different to everyday black and i look forward to wearing it soon!!

These were a shirt i had longed and longed for and i couldn't find them in any Primarks near me so i gave up on getting my hand on one, but again old faithful Ebay came up with them!!

The one on the left which is the one length is actually navy blue and white but it looks really good with the gold accent buttons and stuff it's so nice on and although its sheer you could get away with nothing under it but i'd probs put on a vest top or a bandeau, i got it on ebay brand new for £3 which is a bargain!

The one on the right is a dip hem version of the same shirt but in black and white stripes.
it's much more casual and is the same sheer material, i got that from ebay too brand new for £2 another top bargain honestly couldn't believe my luck when i came across them i love finding stuff like that on ebay so now i know if i hang on long enough i will eventually get it on ebay! Hooray.

This was just a random presumptious buy haha, since i know i need to get a job i thought this could go in my interview clothes haha but it was a nice shirt and is nice on and it was on the £1 rail in primark so i couldn't really say no to it now could I?

This was another shirt from the reduced rack in Primark, sorry i just pulled it out the bag hence why it is so crumpled, its a nice deep red/burgundy colour and i already own one of these shirts and they are just comfy for those days when you want to be baggy and comfy and just layer up perfect! so easy to dress up or down! it was £3 :)

These were little gutties i picked up from Primark as my other ones are well done. I got red for a change of colour and navy blue instead of black, they are uber comfy and just pretty little things and for just £3 each they were well worth it.

Again i picked these up in Primark just because they were awfy cute and because they were zebra print and i do love zebra print, they were only £3 so i got them, they are comfy comfy too which always helps!

picked this bag up to from Primark because it was on sale and because it had  enough room for all my stuff and i got in tan because i decided i own enough black and if i was wearing all black then this would be a nice accent colour to break it up,

haha it seems like i only went to primark but i did pop into a few other places!

Lush was my next stop.
i adoreeeeee this stuff, smells amazing!!! and works a treat, i only got a small bottle because my mum was buying me it and the bigger bottle was a bit pricey so i got two things for the price of a big bottle, this was like £3 or something and it'll do me, can't wait to use it and get all nice smelling and glittery.

Next up i got some lip tint

this was a snow fairy lip tint and i had never seen it before but my mum got i when she went to the till, it smells soooooo good and is pink in colour and gives your lips a slight colour so cute!! thats if i can keep on my lips for long enough without licking it back off haha.

My last stop was H&M but i don't have photos of what i got so i'll take them off the website.

Black leggings was my first stop as all my others were starting to get a bit yucky so i stopped off and picked up a new pair, i got the thicker than normal ones since autumn is coming and they were £7.99

the top is really nice, and the material is light and airy, and i like that it has little 3/4 length sleeves and more of a dip hem at the back, it was £10 the most i spent was on this top haha but its nice and i will purchase the other ones too because they are also cute!

so that was my clothing haul!!

River Island - Sale Haul

Hii Girls!!

so i thought i would share with you a few wee bargains i picked up from the RI sale recently, well more like 3 weeks ago now but this is me just getting around to it!!

I've used the photos from the RI site since my camera is in a state of non working at the moment!!

So here's is what i picked up.

Firstly i got some everyday black leggings, these ones are high waisted and i had been wanting a little pair of high waisted ones as i can't afford the AA Disco Pants right now!!
They were down to £8 in the sale and they were the only pair left in a 6 even though i'm more an 8 the 6 actually fits fine so maybe i'm a bit smaller in RI as i don't shop in it that often!

Next up was this little pair of shorts, the sole reason i got them was because i liked the little design on the front with the chain and that i thought it was super cute.  I bought them thinking they would be like little hairwaisyted hotpants and i got them in an 8 just incase, but they are slightly too big at the waist and they are tiny!!! more like pants than hot pants haha so i've left it too late now to go and go about returning them and all that so i think i will sell them on to a loving home on ebay as i will just not wear them!! They are gorgeous though and they were only £8 so i can't really complain if only they were a bit bigger and actually covered my bum haha!

I nearly died when i seen this playsuit just sittin on the edge of the rail as i had seen it months before and thought it was so cute and different and did not expect to find it at all and especially not in my size as usually when it comes to sales and stuff i am horrendously unlucky with finding the things i want to get my hands on, but this time luck was on my side and the little beauty was right there so i snatched it up straight away, the queue for the changing rooms was ridiculous for the girls so i thought stuff it i'll just get it, I picked it up in a size 8 as that was all that left ao i presumed it would be fine.  The material is so osft and airy and the design of it is just the cutest, i got it home and it lay in the bag then it lay and lay and lay so i finally tried it on today and well it's lovely but it's slightly too big and bum skimmingly short at the back....
So i find myself in a little pickle it's only baggy at the front so if i put a belt round it ..it could be okay or i usually wear my bag across body so that would also push it down i just don't want to rock the 'is she pregnant look' know what i mean?  appart from that it's okay until i turn around then i seen it was so short just the way it sits i was like eeeeek.. it's bum skimmningly short like seeable short so i don't know i thought i could awlays just keep it and rock it up with jazzy tights if i was going out then it would be fine.  So i think i'm just going to keep it and try and jazzy it up somehow.  I picked it up for£10 in the sale, bargain considering it was originally £35!!

Next up was this aztec print scarf, totes cute, i do like a RI scarf but sometimes i cant judge the money for a scarf but when i seen this in the sale i couldn't resist all the colours i like and nice and long and cosy and for the bargain price of £5 it was mines!!

Last up the beetlejuice leggings had been looking for a pair for a while but wanted a decent pair so got these in the sale for £10 which i thought was alright considering they were almost £20 originally!! :)

overall good day at the RI sale!!

you girlies get any good sale bargains?

Beauty Haul

Hii Girls, another short post on some beauty items i got recently, some from the illamasqua sale, some from Ebay, some from general high sreet shops and some from Alice over at Bright Town Girl when she done a little blog sale!! :)

I got a foundation from Illamasqua thanks to reading a post from The Beauty Fiend about her purchases from they're sale, so that's what made me go to their website and have a wee swatch, as i honestly didn't even know they had a sale on, totally not with it sometimes. So i opted for the Rich Foundation in shade 133 which is for light skin as by the time i got to their sale half the shades and stuff had already gone so i opted for this one as it was the lightest available, up until this point i had never even used Illamasqua so this was ll new to me.  My Best Kirsty over at The Style Khalessi had bought their white mixing foundation and had all good things to say about it so i thought ahh stuff it i shall give it a go!

First thing to mention was how cute the packaging was, when the postman rang my doorbell with this square package i was like what is this i haven't ordered anything this big haha, then i opened it and was really surprised, it was super cute and well wrapped top marks for that Illasmasqua!!

So this was the foundation I purchased.

It's a har plastic bottle and is a fairly decent size 30ml with a twist lid.  The bottle is sturdy and stands well.  I got it in the shade 133 and was from the rich foundation line which is more for medium to full coverage i got that because i have pretty terrible skin and thought this might be better for when i'm going out but only at night as i don't like lots of make-up on during the day.  I haven't tested it out yet but it looks good and is lighter than my everyday foundation whic is a bit dark anyway so all in all it looks to have been a pretty good purchase.  It usually retials at £21.50 but i got it for £10 in the sale which is a total bargain and specially if it works amazingly!!  I shall await this sale next year or at Christmas with baited breath!! :)

The Illasmaqua Loose powder i also got (from the blog sale) but included in the Illamasqua box as it's the same brand.

That's what the loose powder looks like.  It's a 15g tub and comes with the puff too.  It's in the lightest shade LP 120 for fair skin and a slight pink tone which will help with my skin troubles!!  The powder itself retials at £19.50 but i managed to pick it up for £5 bargain!!  It says the powder is light and soft and fixes my make-up flawlessly so here's hoping i shall review once i have used it and let you know the verdict!

Now onto Ebay...This was just a completely random purchase that i came across as i was browsing but was intrigued about it as i had seen so many people go on about Ciate nail polishes that i thought i should try one so i went ahead and purchased this one.

I purchased it from ebay for the absolute bargain price of £1 which for this brand of nail polish is really good.  It is a 13.5ml size bottle and is so super cute :)  I got the shade Jelly Bean which is almost like a magenta pink with a shimmer of blue when the light hits it, looks gorgeous in the bottle and i'm looking for to trying it out for myself. Review still to come!!

Next up was more of the blog sale items...Firsty was the No7 shine free primer.

I'd been thinking about trying the No7 primers for a while and when i seen this i thought why not!!  It is the shine free primer and promises to give more of a matte finish to your make-up.  I picked this up for £3.  Once I start using it i shall then review it on it's own.

Next up was this Barry M lip stick or lip paint as they call it.

Over recent months i've got more into lipsticks and have been picking them up here and there, plus i use Barry M for other things like their nail polish and little eye dusts and things so i think the lipstick is a pretty safe bet and i'm looking forward to trying it out.  The shade is 144 and is called cerise pink on the website but i think its a really dark pink almost purple like it's a gorgeous colour and i can't wait to try it out on a night out!!  I picked this lip paint up for £1 bargain, they retail at £4.49 on the Barry M Website.  I shall review this once i've used it.

here's a phot of the colour

Next up is another lipstick also from the blog sale and is from Micheal Todd whom i can say i've honestly never even heard of, but i really like the whole nude/peach tones for lipsticks and have been looking for different ones and this fell directly into that category so i thought why not.  This is what it looks like and the colour of the lipstick.

The shade is listed as First Kiss and is a peachy gold tone, looks lovely and summery and i can't wait to try it out.  I picked this up for £1.

Next up was a blusher that i have seen in many reviews lately, the Revlon photoready cream blush.  I've used cream blush before and i like it, i know it's not everyones cup of tea and sometimes they can be so unpredictable as it's easy to put too much on but i like them and find them pretty easy and good to use so i purchased this one.

It's in the shade pinched and is a peachy coral colour blush.  Sometimes i get sick of using the same old pink tone blushes and i really like a nice peachy one as i think it can really change up your look so i opted for this one.  Plus i picked it up for just £2.50 bargain.  I know they are just a new product out here in the UK so if its good i look forward to trying more and different shades.

I also picked up some new flase eyelashes, just wee cheapy ones from the £1 shop, got two sets and glue and £1 and they are just as good as the more expensive ones.  I'n all honesty i'm not one for buying expensive false eyelashes as i get glue everywhere and i just peel them off at night and that's it so i'm not into paying £10 for some eyelashes when we all have them anyway..

Last thing i picked up was another rimmel primer, good wee primer for the money and does the job at the end of they day, currently on offer for £4.99 in boots instead of £6.99

that was my wee beauty haul, thanks for reading.

you girls used any these products?
rate them or hate them?
